Delete your Noteqo account

You can permanently delete your Noteqo account and its data at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is no grace period and the data cannot be recovered.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open Noteqo and go to Settings → Account.
2. Scroll to Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm, then choose Delete everything.

Can't sign in?

If you can no longer access your account, email privacy@noteqo.com from the address on your account and we will verify ownership and delete it on your behalf.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (email and display name) and identity keys.
• Every space you own, including all notes, files, and messages of every member in those spaces.
• All files you uploaded, including the encrypted objects in storage.
• Your devices' push-notification tokens and any mailbox addresses.

What we retain

Noteqo is end-to-end encrypted, so we never hold the contents of your notes, files, or messages — there is nothing in plaintext for us to keep. For security and legal compliance we retain only the minimum permitted:

• A pseudonymized deletion record (no email or name) proving the account was erased.
• Content you contributed to spaces owned by other people remains part of their workspace.
• Server logs that may contain identifiers age out automatically within 90 days.

Managed accounts provisioned by an organization are deleted by that organization's admin rather than self-service.
